Galvanized sheet is a new layer of steel on the surface

Galvanized sheet is a steel plate with a layer of zinc on the surface. Galvanizing is an economical and effective antirust method often used. About half of the world's zinc production is used in this process.

Function: galvanized steel plate is to prevent corrosion on the surface of the steel plate to extend its service life, coated with a layer of metal zinc on the surface of the steel plate, this zinc coated steel plate is called galvanized sheet.

According to production and processing methods, it can be divided into the following categories:

Hot-dip galvanized steel sheet. A thin sheet of steel is immersed in a molten zinc tank so that the surface is adhered to a thin sheet of zinc. At present, continuous galvanizing process is mainly used in the production, that is, the rolling steel plate is continuously immersed in the melting zinc plating tank made of galvanized steel plate;

alloyed galvanized steel sheet. This steel plate is also made by hot dipping, but immediately after it is taken out of the tank, it is heated to about 500℃ to form a thin alloy film of zinc and iron. This galvanized sheet has good coating tightness and weldability;

Galvanized steel sheet. This galvanized steel plate made by electroplating has good workability. But the coating is thinner, corrosion resistance is not as hot dip galvanized sheet;

(4) Single-sided plating and double-sided difference galvanized steel plate. Single-sided galvanized steel sheet, that is, galvanized on only one side of the product. It has better adaptability than double-sided galvanized sheet in welding, coating, anti-rust treatment and processing. In order to overcome the shortcomings of uncoated zinc on one side, there is a galvanized sheet coated with a thin layer of zinc on the other side, that is, double-sided difference galvanized sheet;

⑤ Alloy, composite galvanized steel plate. It is made of zinc and other metals such as aluminum, lead, zinc alloy or composite plating into the steel plate. This steel plate not only has excellent anti-rust performance, but also has good coating performance.
